Since her first love for piano to the heavy grooves she now generously deploys behind the decks, Jean Terechkova has come a long way. It must be said that she has a special talent for cultivating fertile metamorphoses – just like her stage name, the addition of a long-standing male nickname and a tribute to the first female cosmonaut.

From Normandy and Rennes by adoption, she has quickly made her place among the local scene through a strong taste for cathartic sounds. By cathartic, we mean the most extreme flavors that can be found in the rave musical spectrum, from 90’s acid, trance, hardstyle, hardcore, to all other forbidden territories. A straight-to-the-floor yet fine selection of bangers, so satisfying and brilliantly mixed that she brings out – beyond the violence – all the poetry of brutality.

With major releases on KTK Records, Union Trance Mission, Tétraèdre or Hard Vision, it seems that her addiction to hard dance has now made its way towards the best current labels of the genre, as well as dancefloors all around the globe.
